Bruna Sperling is the first artist in residency hosted by the VRB Gallery during the 2023 summer.  
Bruna is a Brazilian artist, b.1987 in Brasilia, a place known for its distinct geometric shapes and other elements that color the young city known for its minimalistic architecture - much of which inspires her work as a multi-dimensional artist today.

Bruna's research deepens issues related to her education and experience with architecture. From the understanding of the rigidity of constructive systems and structures that do not assimilate the subtleties of manual processes, she feels the need to work on a smaller scale. Vibrant and neon colors are recurrent in my work and form the backdrop for small imagery constructions, whether geometric or figurative, with a strong pop appeal and fantastic and surrealist nuances.
